The Level 3 webinar is one of a series of 3 webinars about Haemoglobinopathy and Laboratory investigation. It will look at the presence of multiple factors simultaneously affecting the Hbopathy results followed by rare case reports.

It follows the Level 2 webinar which looked the causes that influence the level of Hb fractions- HbF , HbA2 and HbA, provide guidelines for the differential diagnosis and interpretation of the case reports.

Level 1 is covering the science and gave insights in the laboratory methodology for investigation of haemoglobinopathies with reference to HPLC, particularly Tosoh G11. It gave a look at some of the normal and abnormal chromatograms to help with the interpretation of the results.
